Granite Crushing and Processing

Granite is a common type of intrusive, felsic, igneous rock which is granular and phaneritic in texture. This rock consists mainly of quartz, mica, and feldspar. Granites sometimes occur in circular depressions surrounded by a range of hills, formed by the metamorphic aureole or hornfels.

1.Coarse crushing

Granite bulk materials are uniformly fed to jaw crusher by vibrating feeder for coarse crushing.The coarsely crushed material is sieved by vibrating screen and then conveyed by belt conveyor to impact crusher or cone crusher for medium and fine crushing

2.Medium and fine crushing

Medium and fine crushed granite was screened by vibrating screen, and the larger granular material was returned to be crushed by cone crusher or impact crusher.

3.Fine-grained material shaping

Crushed granite is sent to the sand making machine for the further crushing and shaping. If needs clean granite, it can be sent to the sand washer for cleaning.
